Days Creek Charter School is located in Days Creek, alongside the beautiful South Umpqua River in Douglas County, Oregon.  Although the first school district was formed as far back as 1856 at the same site where it is located today, the present day district is a combination of four very small districts that consolidated in 1921. The first part of the modern day school structure was built in 1927 and added onto in the 1950's.  Our school and district have a great deal of history!

In the fall of 2005, Days Creek School became the Days Creek Charter School in an effort to attract students from outside our district and increase our declining enrollment. The charter school has been very successful in this effort to draw interested students from the surrounding area.  At present our school contains grades K through 12.  We have a high graduation rate and our graduates  continue on to colleges, universities and vocational schools across the nation.  Days Creek Dollars for Scholars is proud to be able to play a part in funding our graduates' post secondary education.
